Starting a Business
Women are starting businesses at one and a half times the rate of the national average in today’s world. Self-employment through entrepreneurship is an option explored by many women in our community. Ideas for a new business should be well thought out, and informed decision-making can be an incredible financial opportunity for you. The Women’s Business Center has been providing classes for over 20 years to women in our community. The Women's Business Center supports women entrepreneurs by business plan development training through LaunchU which includes 8 weeks of facilitation and small group coaching using a hybrid learning model.
